Let's paint a simple stormy sky full of billowing clouds and a tornado! I love moody paintings, and this one filled me with such joy this week! I hope it does for you too. This is a good acrylic painting tutorial for beginners on up! I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-in flat brush
• A 1/2-inch flat brush
• #8 bright
• A fan brush

I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Burnt Umber
• Ultramarine Blue
• Cadmium Yellow Medium
But you can use any colors you like.
