It’s my favorite time of year. The smell of leaves, the chill in the air, the horrifying sight of an airsoft celebrity infiltrating my basement… All of it reminds me of better days.
Today we cover a big airsoft rule and review the fan-favorite Novritsch SSG24.
This video hopefully fulfilled two purposes: it made you laugh and reminded you of a huge airsoft safety tip. I don’t like to get political (like ever, because I’m an idiot) but this is (IMO) the number one way to keep “The Man” out of our sport. If you are wearing your airsoft gear this Halloween, don’t take your replicas. We avoid stricter state regulation by avoiding conflict with those who don’t know about airsoft and the culture associated with it. By keeping our guns off the streets and away from the general public, we avoid stuff like this:

You might be like, “Reach, you buffoon, these were KIDS who got in trouble, and both of them were being SUPER IRRESPONSIBLE! I’m clearly neither of these things!” And that’s true. I don’t think you’re the one who’s going to get in trouble for being irresponsible, but you may know someone who might. Share this video with your friends, your team, or maybe even your siblings who like airsoft. I hope that it’s a non-aggressive way to remind people that not everyone understands or perceives guns the way the airsoft community does. The best way to prevent unnecessary heartbreak and keep our sport the way it is is to spread the word and follow the rules.
Don’t try to trifle, stash that rifle.
