Gahh, sneaky birthdays. They sneak up on me every time I turn my head.
-starts planning Ryan's birthday video to prevent a reoccurrence of events-
Anyway. I was planning so much more for Laurin's birthday vid it just turns out I'm horrible at keeping secrets from her. Keeping the MEP a secret was easier (mostly because I knew Ryan would absolutely STRANGLE ME. Not like I was gonna tell her anyway). I'm currently planning a video for her -rubs hands together with evil grin- Which means I'm gonna need beta testers who are often on AIM and can put up with all my complaining about how crappy it looks. XD I'm thinking asking Nona for helpies? XD
But I digress.

If you don't know her, you are making a huge mistake. Laurin has pulled me (and sometimes dragged me) through highs and lows, through happiness and misery, given me advice on The Tough Stuff and helped me with almost everything else. She makes me happy, she keeps me happy. She makes me smile and laugh and cry all at the same time. She immediately gets me and my obsession with animated and fictional hot dudes, and even when she doesn't (which is rare) shell try and understand me. I'm very lucky to be in her life, let alone be called her friend.
Storyline;
Aerith is a friendly and beautiful girl, but she has one fault. She doesn't have enough confidence in herself. One day after Aerith gets into an argument with her boyfriend (because she lacks confidence, she thinks people are idiots for sticking with her) she calls her friend Rinoa who comes running to help her. Rinoa tells her that she really is beautiful, and at the end of the video, Aerith realizes that this is true.

Notes // I started this as soon as I got 8.0 Pro. I rendered a preview for Kaylee and started working more on it. I was about 90% finished when Vegas terminated my project T_T I dont know why or how.
So I had to work from that one minute preview and I ended up cutting the song. D: Even though DDS was so nice to let me post a beta, I cut the song.
Storyline // Follow the storyline of FFVII only slightly altered: Tifa and Cloud are a couple and Aerith and Zack. But Aerith and Cloud fall in love and decide to keep it a secret from Tifa and Zack. Eventually, both find out. But Zack dies. Cloud thinks hes finally got Aerith, but she is killed by Sephiroth and leaves Cloud alone... friendless, loveless, and feeling numb.

Made this with challenges. 1. Only one video track+watermark. [IDK why I put that. Who would steal this shiz xD]

I basically just made this to get back into the AMV swing. WTTF scarred me xD I couldnt even open Vegas without sighing.

Storyline;;
Introduction;;
Spira is in turmoil once more when rebel groups want to overthrow Maester Seymour, who currently leads Spira. Seymour then invents the Factions. The Factions are groups of warriors who suppress the rebel groups and prevent them from attacking many cities and towns. Each Faction would protect a certain area and be assisted and protected by a summoner.
Story;;
The rightful heiress, Yuna, was too young at the time her father died. She followed in his footsteps and became an apprentice summoner and guardian of Faction 13. While she stands at a distance, watching her first fight, she notices the youngest of Faction 13 fall to the ground, injured. She runs to him in concern. She manages to heal his wounds a bit. The young man looks up at her and thanks her. His name is Nowe.
Yuna and Nowe soon become friends as Nowe recovers from his wounds. He shares his ideas on Maester Seymour with Yuna, telling her that his ideas are cruel and that he is not right for Spira. Yuna asks him why he fights against the rebels instead of with them, and Nowe avoids the question.
Yuna is soon parted with Nowe because he is a warrior and she is a healer. She watches her friend fight from afar as she heals the wounded and summons Aeons for help.
One night, Nowe finds Yuna and tells her that hes going to join the rebels. He asks her if she wants to join him. Yuna is afraid. She doesnt want to risk what little she has to join the rebels. She replies in tears that she cant. Nowe is pained by her decision and then tells her why he was going to join the rebels. He wants to save her. Nowe leaves. Several days later, Yuna sees Nowe fighting against Faction 13. Horrified, she watches as one of the better fighters of Faction 13 charges towards Nowe and slash at him. Yuna turns away and flees, not wanting to see Nowes body. However, she misses that Nowes friend sacrificed himself for Nowe, and that he still lives.
A few weeks pass since the battle, and Yuna is summoned to Bevelle by Maester Seymour. He intends to marry her and become the legal king of Spira. Being depressed because of Nowes death, Yuna doesnt protest and goes to marry Seymour. Nowe is still alive, however, and hears of his intentions. He flies on Legna to Bevelle in order to save Yuna. Yuna, however, has different plans. She wants to commit suicide by jumping off of the tower. Just as she does, however, shes saved by Nowe.
Nowe and Yuna flee from Bevelle. They dont know where they can go and stay, seeing as the world they live in is not going for the better. Yuna then proposes a final summoning. She sends Nowe, Legna, and herself to the Farplane. They promise that theyll go back one day. Until then, they remain on the Farplane, waiting for their world to be a better place.
[ Random fact;; I am a cruel murderer who is determined to kill all of her characters. In the original story, they were both going to commit suicide and be together in the Farplane forever. I decided against that when I realized that out of all of my videos with stories in four of them, no one dies, and only two of them have a happy ending. Im such a pessimist xDD ]

Storyline notes//Im running out of ways for my characters to commit suicide... ^^;;
Storyline//
After Aeriths death, Cloud finds himself broken beyond repair. Right after she died, as he held her body, he realized he loved her, even though she said she loved Zack. He is on the verge of desperation and seeks contact with Aerith, any kind of contact. He visits her old church and after a long time of waiting, he sees her and Zack standing by the door. Zack waves at him and leaves. Aerith calls out Clouds name. Happy, he walks towards her.
Aerith, he says softly as he reaches out towards her. Youre alive.
And then she disappears again.
Cloud is heartbroken. Why did she disappear like that? But Cloud knows now that it is possible for her to come back. So he starts to return to her church every day, forgetting about Tifa, Denzel and Marlene, and after several weeks, he doesnt even bother to go home anymore. He simply sits in her church, dozing on and off, exhausted.
Aerith reappears to him several months after her first appearance. Cloud gasps and finds himself smiling. He reaches out towards her, desperate to hold her. But Aerith pulls back and shakes her head.
Dont you understand? Aerith said. Thats not how it works.
Then how does it work? Cloud demands.
You wont ever see me again, Aerith said as she started to fade. Not until the day you die.
AERITH! NO! screams Cloud, but she is gone by then. Cloud, nearly delirious by then, goes over in his mind how he can see bring her back from the dead, back to him. AERITH! he screams. AERITH!
When there is no answer, Cloud breaks down and starts crying. He slowly processes Aeriths words through his head.
Until the day you die...
He takes a razor blade and slits his wrist.
While lying on the ground, bleeding to death, Cloud remembers his last moments with Aerith while she was alive. He remembers her death, his numb disbelief, her burial. When Cloud opens his eyes again, he sees Aerith. She is shaking her head sadly, but Cloud smiles.
You werent supposed to do that, she said, choking on a sob.
I love you, Cloud said.
Aerith takes his hand to lead him into the Lifestream with her.
I love you, too.
