TODAY IS MY ANNIVERSARY, YAYYY!! :3
7 years ago today I created this account, and I first joined youtube (officially with uploads) a year prior to that in 2008. So I decided to combine them into one anniversary to celebrate being on youtube for 8 years!! :3
(probably shoulda just went with how long I'm been editing which is about 9 years for me but... that first year was such a dark time, we don't need to go there :'))
I literally can't believe I've been here that long, ohmygosh!

Anyway, to celebrate, I wanted to show you guys a *quick* timeline of my editing, starting from my VERY FIRST VIDEO EVER UPLOADED.
I'm hoping this will help you guys get to know me better, and most importantly, give you guys starting out with editing for the first time hope -- cause honestly, no one can edit worse than my first attempts at it, and if I can go from there to where I am now, YOU CAN, TOO!!! :3

My picks for these are kinda random, but I tried to find full-length videos or landmarks I accomplished within about a 6 month increment. Some a little closer, some a little farther in timelength. But it's amazing how much my style has jumped from here to there, especially when it comes to what kind of fandoms I edited with the most XD
And while there are a ton I'd want to show, as well, here are my picks :3

$atlantis || between oceans {favorite movie contest} How do I sum up how downright brilliant this movie is?!? Seriously. There are just no words! It makes me sad how underrated and unknown this film is.... MORE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW OF THIS MOVIE!! Now while most videos I see edited with Atlantis tend to be focused on Milo & Kidas relationship, I wanted to dive further into the movie and do a study, I guess, of the different aspects that make it so amazing. And why its one of my favorites :3 For starters, the cinematography in this movie is absolutely breathtaking! The animation style, the colors, the beautiful landscapes that they created all help make this movie such eye candy to watch :3 The dedication to the story and the details is also brilliant. The fact they turn an entire animated movie into an action feature is a feat in and of itself, but they pull it off perfectly! The characters are portrayed in such human ways that make them relatable, lovable, terrifying, etc. in all the right ways. The background information was heavily researched and designed from multiple theories and cultures to help add a unique flavor to the legend... including how the entire city still sustains life beneath the surface of the ocean with flowing water, animals, foliage, etc.... Not to mention they even went so far as to create their own language for the Atlanteans to speak and write in - THE DEDICATION IS REAL, GUYS. SO REAL. But most of all I think I love it for the thematic focuses of the movie and how it leans heavily on familial relationships. Such as Milo with his Grandfather, who he admired more than anything and who literally made him into the man he was, and Kida with her Father who even tho they may not see eye-to-eye all the time, still adore and care for one another beyond anything else in the world. It makes me tear up every time Also, I may or may not have completely bawled during the destruction of Atlantis sequence... CAUSE BOI THAT PART GETS ME EVERY SINGLE TIME T.T And obviously that amazing soundtrack deserves recognition cause James Newton Howard is a genius! Ahem... anyway xD Sorry this is sooooo simple and boring. $multi-males || something wild {HEC; Round 3} {watch in hd for all the handsome mennnn~} EDIT: just realized that after I colored it, Vegas dropped my whites down on some of the whited-out images so you can see ghost lines in them now... DANG IT xD OHMYGOSH GUYS. ITS DONE. I SERIOUSLY CANT BELIEVE IT. Two weeks of utter pain and stress and here is the result! :D I about had a heart attack when I read the rules for this round, which was that it had to be to a mashup/remix with more than 3 fandoms/movies and all at least 1 minute long.... AND I DECIDED TO BE DUMB AND DO IMAGE EDITING CAUSE I LIKE TORTURING MYSELF Holy smokes, though, guys... I ALMOST DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT IN ON TIME XD I had so much more stuff that I wanted to add and mess around with on this thing, but two weeks is just too short for my poor slow-editing body to cope with and I just couldnt get to it....
