Site obstructions, such as trees, buildings and bridges, can interfere with accuracy of positioning equipment and throw AR visuals relying on it into disarray.

Luckily, vGIS's patented positioning method allows the system to work with the best GNSS receivers, which negates the adverse effects of obstructions and multipathing.

In this example, the system is used under the bridge cover, which would typically impact the quality of AR placement; however, the AR overlays in vGIS remain stable and reliably positioned. Special thanks to Leica Japan for the video. Find out more at https://www.vgis.io.

vGIS AR (https://www.vgis.io) is the leading augmented reality solution for BIM, GIS and reality capture data visualizations. vGIS was designed to create a more productive, enjoyable and safe working environment. The system connects to Esri ArcGIS, Bentley iTwin, Autodesk BIM 360, and other sources to seamlessly convert and aggregate data into powerful, accurate and stable 3D visuals. vGIS AR is deployed globally to bring real-life benefits to its users.
