Hand Gesture Controlled Robotic Arm using Arduino  @KarthikProjects

Gesture controlled robotic controls the movement of robotic arm by tracking hand movements. Hand movements is tracked using 3-axis accelerometer. A mechanical robotic arm with 3DOF and gripper mechanism is used here. Movement of robotic arm is controlled by using servo motors. 4 servo motors (SG90 servo) are used for the purpose. Arduino board (Arduino uno R3) reads the accelerometer data along X,Y and Z axis and maps the values to the corresponding rotation angle of servo motors. Thus the robotic hand mechanism follows the movements of hand and moves in a similar pattern which makes controlling the arm easier.
