Detects LPG gas leakage and automatically closes gas cylinder regulator valve. This prevents further gas leakage and provides safety for home kitchen and cooking places. When any gas leakage is detected by the sensor then microcontroller signals the buzzer to produce alarm warning sound and also closes the gas regulator value in cylinder automatically.
Here PIC16F877a microcontroller, MQ6 gas sensor and SG90 Servo motor is used. For power supply a 12v 1amp step-down transformer is used. 12v is converted into 5v using IC 7805 voltage regulator. This project is very useful to prevent fire accidents due to gas leakage.
