The purpose of this short video is to test the animation capabilities of Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements. The process is as follows:

Step 1) Drew the bouncing ball animation starting with keyframes as separate layers, followed by inbetween drawings also as separate layers.

Step 2) Exported each image separately as png files (Photoshop Elements had no batch processing option)

Step 3) Laid out the individual frames in order and exported as a movie file. Re-imported movie file and increased speed of film clip.

Step 4) Repeat Step 3 as necessary to get a decent flowing movement.

Optional Step) Added sound effects whenever ball made impact.

Conclusion: These apps have the potential for creating decent animations comparable to industry standards such as Adobe Animate and Toon Boom Harmony.

Next test: Walk cycles
