On a trip to Governor's Island, I discovered these two musicians on their way over on the ferry to perform for visiting guests. This was the perfect surprise for my traveling companions who wanted to check out the island just before it closed for the season, but no one was more surprised than I when I heard the singer's beautiful voice. It's true what they say about determining what sort of music is good just by listening to it.
