Chapter 1 – “Is there anyone here showing signs of life?”

The piece “Signs” is born from our need to process pain and confront it through musical and visual imagery.
The disaster of October 7th filled our bodies with pain — pain we’d rather suppress and silence.
But if we don’t find a way to release it, if we don’t face it, it will continue to live within us.
Composer Hana Adjiashvili approached the creation from a need to tell our personal story and to present the inner experience following the tragedy of that day.
In collaboration with video artist Yoav Barel, the sounds gain visual representation, and together they form an abstract and symbolic journey.
The journey through pain can be difficult, but this raw pain must be felt, processed, and passed through.
Only from there can something new emerge.
