The Creator dwells in my heart, o Ali, o Mawla, only You dwell in it.
My body and life-force (jeev) know no other than You, o my Consort! O Mawla, You indeed are my Lord!

Ô Créateur! Ô Ali! Ô Mawla! Dans mon cœur, il n’y a que toi.
Mon corps et mon âme (jeev) ne connaissent que toi, ô mon Maître! Ô Mawla, tu es vraiment mon Maître!

Djeey kariyè tee(n)y hoye, mahèr karo moraa saa(n)hiyaa
Aly ham tèrè aadhaar, tèrè aadhaar,
Yaa Mawlaa tou(n)hidj daataar

Whatever You do, wherever You are, keep me in Your mercy O Ali, I rely on You, I rely only on you, O Mawla You are the most bountiful Have mercy on me o Beloved! O Ali You are my trust and on You alone I rely.. ..1

Quoi que tu fasses, où que tu sois, garde-moi dans ta miséricorde, ô Ali.
Je compte sur toi, je ne compte que sur toi, ô Mawla, tu es le plus généreux.

Ham bando dossaariyaa
Mayaa karo to tchhoutiyè, Yaa Aly tchhoutiyè,
Yaa Aly aach tamaari, Yaa Mawlaa aach tamaari
Mahèr karo moraa saa(n)hiyaa, Aly ham tèrè aadhaar.. ..2

O Master, You are my King, You are my destiny, You are the all compassionate. I am a sinful slave; If you show mercy to me, I shall be set free, O Ali, liberate me! O Ali, You are my only hope! O Mawla! You are my only hope! Have mercy on me o Beloved, O Ali on You alone I rely.. ..2

Ô Maître, tu es mon roi, tu es ma destinée, tu es le tout miséricordieux.
Je suis un esclave pécheur; si tu me montres ta miséricorde, je serai libéré. Ô Ali, libère-moi! Ô Ali, tu es mon seul espoir! Ô Mawla! Tu es mon seul espoir!

Yaa Aly tou(n)hidj sataar, Yaa Mawlaa tou(n)hidj daataar,

Fulfill my innermost desires; You are the One who knows the secrets of my heart This slave has come to Your gate, o my Creator You are my Beloved, You are my sustainer, You are the all bountiful, have mercy on me o Beloved, O Ali on You alone I rely.. ..3

Réalise mes aspirations les plus profondes; Tu es Celui qui connaît les secrets de mon cœur. Cet esclave est venu à Ta porte, ô mon Créateur.
Tu es mon Bien-Aimé, Tu es mon soutien, Tu es le Tout-Miséricordieux.
