Lutris and lutris flatpak I hear have dropped ge8 you will need a proton manager installed like protonup-qt and install "geproton 9-25" and use that instead. If you wanna use a new launcher check this video out its a more up to date guide that shows how to set it up proper. I am keeping this up for those who still may be using ge 8 that haven't updated.

So this is for mostly the Steam Deck users but can be applied to all Linux distros. I basically show how to set up dxvk manually and get the game installed.

Install Guide Text Form
1. Get Lutris From Discover Store
or install with these commands pick the right one for your system
sudo apt-get install lutris
sudo pacman -S lutris
2. Run The Install Script
3. Verify Everything Installed In WineTricks If NOT Click Them
4. Get Dxvk 2.5.3 And Copy It Too.
.local/share/lutris/runtime/dxvk
or
/home/deck/.var/app/net.lutris.Lutris/data/lutris/runtime/dxvk
5. Run The Game " And Bring Some MtDew"
