Halloween: The Game just revealed our first preview of its brand-new OFFICIAL comic book series, along with even more new story mode teasers recreating iconic moments from the original 1978 Halloween movie just weeks before launch. The upcoming Halloween: The Game comic is officially set within the game's universe, with at least five issues planned and Issue #1 written by the same writers behind the game's single-player story, while the first issue will be included digitally with the Digital Deluxe Edition and physically with the Limited Collector's Edition before releasing separately on November 4th. In this video, we're breaking down our first look at several pages from Issue #1, which takes us back to Smith's Grove Sanitarium on October 30th, 1978 and shows Michael Myers beginning his escape, along with the different comic covers revealed so far and how you'll be able to get your hands on the first issue. We'll also take a look at several new Halloween: The Game teasers, including Michael leaving Smith's Grove after 15 years, a creepy new shot of The Shape stalking from inside a house, and another story mode cutscene continuing Laurie Strode's iconic walk past the Wallace house from the original movie. With Halloween: The Game officially going gold, Digital Early Access beginning September 4th, the worldwide launch arriving September 8th, its story expanding beyond the game through an official comic series, and IllFonic continuing to recreate moments from John Carpenter's original Halloween, there's a LOT to look forward to.
