I don't usually upload holiday specials, but last Halloween I decided to put together a short cover so I thought I'd do the same this year. This time I arranged the main theme from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.
When it comes to horror anime Higurashi is usually the first show to come to mind, and with good reason. It pretty much helped to define the entire psychological horror genre and it's one of the first anime I ever watched.
As for the arrangement itself I decided to include a short intro and modulate the final verse into a different key. The original piece is only around a minute in length so it was a challenge to keep it interesting, but hopefully you'll enjoy.

Despite being one of my favourite tracks from the game I noticed that there werent many covers of this piece yet, so I thought Id have a go at writing an orchestral arrangement. Seeing as though the original is only a minute long I also added an original section and extended it a little.
