Here's my cover of Julia from the Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack.
Even though most people are talking about the Final Fantasy VII remaster right now, I thought I'd do a blast from the past and cover this beautiful little piece from Final Fantasy VIII instead. Although it might not be the most critically acclaimed game in the series, it was still a huge part of my childhood growing up. Nobuo Uematsu did an incredible job and even now it has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time.
This particular piece plays shortly before Laguna finally works up the courage to talk to Julia, although the main motif is also used for 'Eyes on Me.' You might have noticed that I included my own little intro in the beginning, but otherwise it's a fairly faithful arrangement. Hopefully you'll enjoy!

Despite being one of my favourite tracks from the game I noticed that there werent many covers of this piece yet, so I thought Id have a go at writing an orchestral arrangement. Seeing as though the original is only a minute long I also added an original section and extended it a little.
