Savannah, one of the most beautiful cities in the country, also has a reputation of being the most haunted, so after spending the previous two Halloweens in Salem, Massachusetts, I know I had to head down to Savannah to check out the Southern ghost scene for myself. I was not disappointed. Savannah Supernatural, a tour led by Jodie Thomas, turned out to be just what I was looking for. (Jodie, in addition to offering a humorous take on Savannah history and ghostly presences, even risked getting punched in the face to protect our group from an angry and aggressive guy on the street who very much wanted us to know that . . . well, we couldn't quite figure out what exactly what it was that he wanted us to know.) Do join me on this magical night in the soft Southern air of Savannah under the ever-present and spectral looking Spanish Moss. You won't be disappointed.
