So it's Halloween Samhain time and yes this is one of a few recently. I do get a little over excited, I love the vibe and symbolism of this time of years ancient festivals. And every year I spend a couple of months completley envolping myself in a different theme. Yes I know the fragrance is more shoehorned in.
This year I went for the representations of "Death" as at its core that is what this festival represents the darkness and barriers between the worlds of the living and dead being thinner. I mean well quite literally everything dies this time of year. And throughout history there have been many personifications and representations of death. It actually actually isn't seen as anything malevolent or bad just part of the natural cycle of nature, so these gods are characters are often very caring and benevolent.
Enough waffle, it's all in the video of course. It's purely for me, I've loved all the research as mythology and the origins of "religions" are fascinating.
