Well Saffron isn't one of my favourite notes of I'm honest but sometimes it can be nice. Sadly for me it's one of them perfume notes that rarely smells like the reel thing.

It can be leathery, sharp, weirdly sticky and heavy but also add the slight sweet bitterness to something. I think sadly it can be such a dominant note it can completely take over. I do see why if it's a note you enjoy you'd love it because of that power and in perfumery it can be very distinctive.
