10/31/24 - Star Wars Mandalorian Candy and Toys Event
This year, I was dressed as The Mandalorian (except for the Helmet), which all I had was a Boba Fett helmet. I had a full set-up, animatronic Yoda and a Grogu, lights, music, and lots of candy and toys, placed in little treat bags for the trick or treaters, separated for boys and girls. I had toys for both girls and boys.
My Mom recorded video from the perspective of the trick or treaters arriving, and I recorded video of them approaching the table to receive their treat bags. My event was listed with others in the Sky Country Neighborhood Facebook Group Halloween Event page, which helped me get numerous trick or treaters, and my treat bags of toys and candy ran out within two hours.
There was a lot of unique costumes, but unfortunately I wasn't recording at the time, and not everyone made it to video. This video however, chronicles how much fun everyone had, and how busy I got with trick or treaters, it was a success, but I wish I had more treat bags of candy and toys.
Next Year, for 2025, I'll be another Star Wars character, a new set-up and more candy and toys, more to help me run my event for at least 4 hours, so I need to start early, because this year, I was late by buying all the supplies needed.
