Welcome to the new map of this year: Abstraction! This map's focus is on randomisation. There are 3 main zones and an extra zone which all can be reached via the hub. Furthermore, each zone's features change dynamically based on what happens in the central hub.
The Yu-Gi-Oh quotes are also randomised, half of the time. The classic "You have lost the game" quote is in there, as well as a quote about Obelisk, which my brother suggested. Beyond those 2 quotes, it's entirely up to RNG what quote sequence is generated before the map blows up. Like ZONE (the map), this one requires a longer amount of time spent in it to experience the full map. So the match is set to 30 minutes long.
Aside from Yu-Gi-Oh quotes coming from... well... Yu-Gi-Oh... layered music plays upon entry to each zone. The first 3 zones play music from an upcoming album by @iDestyKK named "Abstraction". The extra zone, Glass Shipment, plays a sample of "iDestyKK - Corruption", an unreleased song in the unreleased 2014 album "Levels". When each zone (except Glass Shipment) is visited a second time, an additional layer of instruments plays. The map's unique variations of each track will be released as part of "Abstraction", the album as a bonus track, just like Constellation in 2019's Recondite.
This is a media project to bring Half-Life gameplay to YouTube in HDR with Eclipsa Audio (7.1.4). For more information, as well as behind-the-scenes on how this video was created, view the following blog post: blog.claranguyen.me/post/2025/12/25/cdm2025-update
