✨️Here are a few tips for making the perfect half square triangles with this method✨️
🩷Use this formula to determine how big to cut your initial squares for the size you'd like for your finished block, unfinished block size/ 0.64 = size of initial squares
🩷When pressing down your squares go slowly & be careful, since with this method we cut our fabric on the bias it will stretch extra & can be misshapen more easily
🩷 Finally be sure to use a light weight thread to keep your seams flat & neat, here we are using DecoBob our 80wt cottonized polyester thread it is super lightweight perfect for piecing
