If you've seen the news you know this tick season is the worst in a decade. As hikers and backpackers we are particularly vulnerable to tick bites, and therefore tick-borne illnesses. In this video I'll show you everything you can do to prevent a tick bite, how to check yourself for ticks, what to do if a tick is on you, and what to do if you think you might have a tick-borne illness.
