Its been quite some time since I have had a run in with a cheater but I guess the year had to start off with one to remind me that they still exist and Valve doesnt care.
The first thing that tipped me off was the "unusually" high damage after Wave 1.
For a badge resetter with the Bitchmans Bitchmaker still not impossible to achieve.
Since they most definitely didnt strike me as someone that would fit that bill, further observations were required.
They werent instantly respawning but their movement still looked unlikely for a Sniper.
After another wave my suspicions didnt subside and eventually I decided to look them up on MvM Lobby.
And I'm sure its not a big surprise to anyone what I found there.
Starting with Wave 4 I decided to remove myself from the game and dedicate it to checking them out.
You would think that at any point someone would say something about myself missing but I guess not.
The cheater most likely caught on what I was up to but kept quiet to not arouse more attention to himself. At least thats my assumption.
He also didnt say anything despite Gekko later getting directly in his face.
His performance also significantly dropped off. Whether thats related to his garbage upgrades or disabling of cheats is up for debate.
To sum it all up, overperforming despite their lack of awareness and overall garbage upgrades together with other MvM players also saying they are cheating leaves no room for debate.
Game: Team Fortress 2
