Ha… after listening back to that opening fill from the previous video… it did have a bit of a “Grey Street” intro vibe… not intentional, but now I can’t unhear it. 😂

But when #carterbeauford does this, he uses the #herta pattern… which is RLR L (or LRL R) …check out the live version of Ants Marching… he’ll actually hold that 1st pattern over the bar while the band vamps the riff. Totally killer!
