I was never quite satisfied with my time here, so I had to beat it, and trying it again, I quickly realized that taking the RL was unnecessary; even with the RL, the grab is super inconsistent, so pacifisting that section is not much worse. You gain time from the pickup being awkward, but even more from the monsters at the end not being awake, so you trade some more RNG at the start for a cleaner ending. That said, this was still fucked to get; not as annoying as 29, but it definitely overstayed its welcome. I got a 19 pretty early, but it wasn't fast enough, it took 3500 attempts total to get this one. The grab is super inconsistent obviously, but there were many super dumb fails; two where the shotgunners at the start killed me from about 16 health on the way to the exit, despite the fact that they see me for all of one second or something, one where I had over 50 health at the exit door and I got murdered by a manc. I was going for 18, though, so a low 17 is a nice result. This is quite a clean run; despite how close it is to 16, it would be miserable to take any time off of this I think, so overall, pretty happy with this run. Very lucky to have survived with such a low health.
Pacifist is obviously doable this way too now, but I decided against it just because of the end chaingunner; there's no fast way to get past him without killing him.
