Hive 2 Generator is being inspected after finding large beetles in it. However no need for alarm, they were much bigger than hive beetles and are not hive beetles, a few were hunted out in one of the other checks.

They are storing honey for winter now, this is Southern Hemisphere, May is the last month of Autumn.

The queening kit frame has been in only a few days at most and i grafted some larvae to four of the positions i made.
I will see if that becomes a take in around five days, if not i will consider using the full "Nucleus exciter trick" for 12 or 24 hours first

The Queen appears to be the Carniola as most of the bees continue to use their way of positioning their wings although there are many of the drab feral bees in there too.
