Clear of this horizontal shmup developed by NCS Corp. and published by Masaya in 1991
on Megadrive/Genesis. It's been rereleased on various consoles in 2021.
More famous for its grotesque horror graphics than its gameplay,
Gynoug is pretty standard for a shmup with the exception of the magic system
that give some variety and also very important to deal with some of the stages.
A negative note is the difficulty management, to make the game harder lazy programmers
just added more hp to all enemies and add more bullets to the same exact waves,
a very bad behaviour in shmup, because of this on hyper difficulty enemies just don't die
so you have to just dodge, not fun.
I played on hard difficulty, but if it wasn't for the above mentioned problem i would have
tried Hyper difficulty just for the sake of be insulted at end of the game,
for some disastrous translation they say some not nice words instead of praise you.
