Hello, and welcome back to another train trip report on my channel.

In this video I will be travelling on-board a GWR Class 387 'Electrostar' from Bristol Parkway to London Paddington.

In Spring 2021 there were yet more major problems with the GWR long-distance fleet, which prohibited many of them from being able to run. Cleverly, to combat this shortage of rolling stock, GWR introduced this fleet of what are usually commuter trains out of London on the route to Bristol.

I don't usually review commuter trains, as there is little to show, but I made an exception for these trains as they were surprisingly pleasant to try out, especially on such an oddball route for the fleet - nobody ever thought an Electrostar would make it to Bristol!
