Gunstar Heroes is a side-scrolling run-and-gun released for the Sega Genesis in 1993. Developed by Treasure, this action-packed title follows the adventures of two gun-toting heroes, Red and Blue, as they battle against an evil empire. Players can choose between two gameplay modes: "Free Shot," which allows weapon customization, and "Fixed Shot," which locks the player's weapon configuration. Gunstar Heroes is celebrated for its tight controls, non-stop action, and stunning visual effects, including vibrant graphics and imaginative boss battles. With its cooperative multiplayer feature, players can team up with a friend to double the firepower.
