Eh, I have time until I get the pc ^^
This is an idea that came to me the other day, and i guess it could be meant as an outlet for stress, too ^^'' And thus i made it based off that idea, and the idea of mimicking the feeling of reality shifting, or at least what I could nearly do of it owo Just the whole numb and lightweight feeling owo
I didn't look up the lyrics for this and I realized that I got the line at 0 : 14 wrong (it's ''*live off you like matter''), but oh well. this isn't supposed to be a serious edit ^^
I suppose this is a bit different than what I usually make :o I also have a visualization in which I included an edit that I made some months back that is similar-ish in style to this ^^ Still yet to make it public ^^
I actually first made this for myself, but now I started considering uploading it here too, so I rendered a new version with a warning at the start! However, I couldn't render within the original project if I wanted to precisely keep my adjustment layer keyframes, so I wasn't able to go back and fix the lyric that's wrong, or rather, eh, I guess i could have done it, but I didn't feel like rendering the original again ^^''
I generally just wanted to use a bunch of lighthearted footage to contrast the duality of the lyrics. I wanted to use YGO for this too? But I lost the motivation to add new clips from new media or look for clips, so hxh and sk8 it is ^^''
The ''gay'' i just added bc that was my first thought when i saw that scene again as i was scrubbing through episodes, and I decided to keep it dkjhdsah owo
I just added a preset that I had saved of my vertical and horizontal shakes, they got quite a bit of the job done here ^^ I also didn't think much while adding these effects, I just went with the flow ^^ Perhaps this kind of style is also me purposefully doing smth that is the opposite of the ''proper'' way of editing that I am learning! ...That includes using comic sans XD
I'm pretty sure I intended for this video to be hard to look at, too owo owo''
Oh and I also turned up the saturation as much as it would allow me to, bc it got to a point where it no longer made any changes if I raised the saturation any higher owo display be like ''there are no brighter colors than this!!"' XD
Also this resolution is interesting. I didn't really wanna do a square but I didn't wanna do 4:3 either, so here we have,,,, 1200x1080, whatever that resolution is XDD
I added the voiceover at the end bc I heard it/remembered about it while scrubbing through clips, and I just thought it was very cute, so I wanted to keep it :3
I rendered this yet another time tho, bc I didn't want the colors to come in so suddenly, and thus, i opted for a little fade from b&w to hopefully make a safer transition to look at.
Hmmm oki, so this will be my late-night, strange upload for the day owo

Phew! It was quite the experience making both this promo and the thumbnail. Got rather burnt out at one point, so it was hard to continue adding scenes, but but! I tried to work on things periodically, first the layout and lastly only the animations. Was a bit of work to find a good camera flow, but i think i got it! Overall it was interesting and fun to make this, and a neat challenge to try only fx! It helped to imagine that Im creating space and the atmosphere of space, instead of needing to think of something abstract.
And yeah! Those are my thoughts on the making of this c:

So, course 1 of art school is almost over. More courses to come, and more stress too, Im sure.
The stress isnt quite over yet, as we still have end-school-year showcases coming up, as well as another thing happening in June that I will have to go to. Not quite sure what its called in English, but its a smaller praxis, I suppose.
Ive come to a point where Im quite tired mentally, but Im still willing to pull myself together and be as productive as I can, this last week, or second-to-last week of school!
All these emotions that this school has made me feel were pretty much the reason I began making this project you see here. I began making it on October 15th 2018, when I was still in my old program at school. I am thankful that I was able to transfer over to the program I am in now, as that was able to lift quite a bit of stress off my shoulders. This new program lets me express myself more and mostly enjoy my lessons more. Ive found some favorite teachers, and my classmates seem nicer and more calm than my previous ones, despite that...I do feel like they sometimes ignore my existence. I do like being alone, but I dont like feeling like Im just non-existent. Although, I was able to befriend a nice person from another class with whom I share a lot of interests.
When I began editing this, I felt like I strongly related to this song, especially this part of it that I used in this video. Although I was inspired by one of FlameyWests videos when making this, I wanted to add my own emotions into it and visualize the song in my own way.
The editing process of this project was very dispersed, and I hadnt gotten much done with it last year. Eventually its process halted bc of school and other projects of mine, but I still kept this one, with the hope that I might continue it sometime, even if I slowly began to feel like I didnt relate to the song as much anymore.
I finally returned to this barely-started project yesterday, and I deduced that I could still relate to this song in a very lowkey way.
I wanted to show Judais depression and anxiety in this video, and basically put myself into, I suppose, most these clips. For some of the clips I didnt bother trying too hard to make them fit bc i didnt feel enough motivation to. Some of them I added as a contrast between his happy self, and basically him through the majority of season 4. Some of them are meant to be seen as nervous or trying to stay happy when not. And others could have a hint of innocence to them.
Also, the clip I added at the diluted part - I added it bc its generally my favorite moment in that episode, and I personally think that its really cute ^^
From a project that I thought would be filled with ambitious effects, I ended up making this project much more simple, buuut I did so deliberately. I wanted a bit of a build up to happen in the effects, leading up to the chorus. When editing this yesterday, I felt like I wanted this project to be relaxing to make, and to be something I could come back to when I dont feel like doing big effects, or when I just dont feel very well. It actually did feel calming to make, and Im glad that I could continue working on this again, after so long ^^ Its very uncommon for me right now to use so little movement, hardly any zooms in my edits like I did at the start, but thats exactly why I wanted to do that. I didnt want to try too hard, and if Im tired, I didnt want to force myself to do a lot. Sure, it was strange for me to look at, at first, but I like it nonetheless. I wanted to keep it simple for what its supposed to represent. I experimented with s_blurmocurves a little in this project ^^
I rendered this twice fully and there was a 3rd render which I cancelled when I saw the mistake I had left in. I fixed it again after the first render because the chorus was too bright, and I think that near the end its still a bit too bright, but I dont feel like rendering this again. The first time it rendered, it took around 30 minutes, and the second time it took 33 minutes, so yeah.
What did surprise me tho, is that I managed to do the majority of the video yesterday and today.
I kind of feel like, me finishing this towards the end of the school year is great, because I guess it could show the span of one school year in a video, but mostly the end of the year.
I would like to also add in that it felt nice to edit with anime media again ^^
Ah, and a fun fact about this video that I would like to mention is that I once tried to remote control my laptop through my phone while I was away from home, aaand I tried to edit this project, and eeerr, it was hard XD I added only one piece of text, but later removed it bc I didnt like how it looked XD

Welp, why not start off the new year with this set uploads!
Kind of reuploads, too.
Basically, I wont be making new edits with Final Fantasy media, or Kingdom Hearts media, or any media by Square Enix. I havent been making any since late 2019. However, I did decide to finish 3 videos in which I really liked my editing, and I didnt want to drop them for that reason. This is the first that I finished of those videos.
I believe for this project, it had also transformed into something of a vent, a project that I came back to every now and then when I felt bad, but not solely for that reason.
I accidentally used the same clip twice here, but oh well.
I dont remember much of what I had to say about this on Vlare, buuut, yes, I knew I wanted to finish this one.
I think it was fun to make at most points? The points which didnt involve me feeling bad.

I feel scared to say much in regards to this new year.
Last year was terrible and, I believe that things wont immediately become better upon the start of this year, but I do hope that with time, things will be able to heal and improve.

Oof! I decided to take a break from posting (as in, making things public) until i had more time and energy, as i was busy these months, but now i have both of those things again, so im back again :3 And time to post this! I have a couple of videos (or quite a few videos?) in my drafts and i shall publish them periodically. I still need to write a description for some, and others - i just need to make public. And this particular description, i had written previously ^^ This is the first proper edit I made on my pc when I got it a few months back and below you will be able to read my thoughts on this at the time.

So uh, I wanted this video to be a confusing experience to watch bc my feelings, and later my editing/rendering process with the video, really was a confusing experience XD
Ive been very vaguely wanting to try video editing on this pc for a while, but ive had zero inspiration, time, motivation, or ideas for songs, and so I picked this one bc it was all i had in mind, and i realized that i reeeaaaaalllyyyy didnt want to think about clips and how much they fit the lyrics, i just wanted to slap effects together, and so, ta-da, low effort edit ^^
I recently got that new pc, and its quite a lot more powerful than my laptop was, however I had some stress and small issues with the temperatures of the pc before I understood one thing about a component. Generally Im really enjoying my experience with it now that Ive been put at ease. However this time around, I think the temperatures made things get a bit worse, or just simply, rendering this wasnt pleasant whatsoever.
the editing process was fast and flawless. the render process?... not so much XD
My pcs cpu temperatures got very high, and they were high basically the whole time, it was slow, there were issues with it stopping during rendering, and it was a stressful experience, would not recommend XD
(maybe getting a new cpu cooler sometime would be a good idea, who knows~ XD)
I honestly dont even really care about the result of the video anymore or the little imperfections, im just glad this is rendered out XD
Had to render this at least 5 times, and it all suuuuccckeeedd XD Im really glad that I didnt decide to loop this any more times than I already did XD
Never minding that stuff though, the actual editing process was really good!! It was really speedy and snappy, no lag during usage, and the ram playback was great. The machine also stayed pretty quiet a lot of the time.
Though, i added the im tired at the start bc Ive just generally been very tired, physically, and mentally, bc of school mostly. And editing this made me tired too XD I wanted to add hxh too, in the loop, bc I wanted the effects to loop at first, not the whole thing, but uh, look where a lack of energy got me owo
I wanna get used to using Vegas Pro 18, so I used that to make this ^^ I got into it and getting used to the program for this video p much gave me no trouble at all :3
I decided to try the black bar effects again here, and i dont use them much bc i dont really like how i do them, buuut, i suppose they added some uniqueness to this video, a little ^^
Accidentally forgot to add a change in a keyframe on the bars juuust before the loop, but to heck with it XD this wasnt supposed to be a full effort edit ^^
Also forgot to copy most of the overlays into the loops, but oh well XD
