As I am getting older, I still spend a lot of time behind a guitar, but not so much the Strat. So, on a Dec, 2024 evening I was in the mood.
I called this long improv, "Strat Biopsy." Probably cause Biopsy was a recent procedure I had on Nov 26, 2024, on my prostate. I admit I waited longer than I should to get it done and that could be detrimental big time, but the procedure was one of the worst things I had to go through besides kidney stones. Kidney stones were much worse cause the pain lasts a long time until it's taken care of.
Anyway, Guitar Biopsy perhaps could be one of my longer improv pieces and I apologize for the text message that beeped on my phone. I didn't want to edit anything on this and just left it. It is what it is and I only imagine what it might be like if I actually practiced.
I do hope you enjoy it. I am using a electro harmonix Grand Canyon echo, with an ole Dyna Comp MXR compressor, a tutti chorus.
