Playthrough with Potemkin. For some reason this game was released for PC, Switch and PS4 in 2019. The first Guilty Gear contains one of the dumbest gameplay features I’ve ever seen: insta-kills. You can use these moves whenever you want, and if they hit the opponent, it wins you the fight, regardless of how many rounds have been fought. They aren't guaranteed to work as the opponent can get out of them, but just the idea of being able to use them whenever feels absurd to me. Later games dropped this feature.
Beating the game with Potemkin mainly relies on using his command grab as much as possible, then if you’re low on health, start spamming his desperation move.
