An inexpensive Guild that comes very close to SG quality. I see now that most of the SG's now have Mahogany bodies. At times they have had Maple bodies similar to this Polara. Also, there is no neck dive on my Polara. I imagine this may differ depending on the weight of the wood.
The difference between this & the Guild Surf Liner I did a show & tell on earlier is night & day. This Polara is a top notch guitar. As is typical, I misstated calling the scale length,,, the radius! 24.75 scale length with a 12.5 radius.
