About this exercise:
This guided walking breath hold exercise brings an ancient breathing practice into your everyday walk. Itβs a simple, time-efficient way to combine movement with breath training.
Using progressive breath holds while walking, weβll gently challenge your COβ tolerance and breath-hold capacity, which may support athletic performance and help you develop a greater sense of calm and control around your breathing.
The goal is not to push yourself. Stay relaxed during each breath-hold and return to normal breathing whenever you need to.
Safety: Do not practise breath holds if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, epilepsy or a history of seizures. Never practise breath holds in or near water, while driving, or anywhere a loss of consciousness could be dangerous.
Enjoy the walk, stay relaxed, and listen to your body.
