Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 review - Spoiler free
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is being hailed as the best Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame. While Marvel has released some middling movies like Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and some extreme stinkers like Eternals and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians Vol. 3 is a great movie that stands out from the rest. This movie has broken Marvel's relative rut and has managed to be the best house on a bad block. Fans can look forward to the ultimate adventure with their favorite band of misfits in this epic space adventure.
GOTG Vol 3 Direction Review
James Gunn's final act for Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, is filled with fan service that satisfies die-hard Marvel fans. The film is set in another universe, completely separate from the Avengers and the post-Thanos chaos. The absence of Kang The Destroyer is attributed to the film's otherworldly setting. The screening received positive reviews from critics and Marvel fans, who showed their enthusiasm by screaming 'Star Lordddddd' like a famous Indian YouTuber named Puneet Superstar.
GOTG Vol 3 Different from the rest of MCU
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, directed by James Gunn, is different from other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. It follows the same theme as the previous films in the series, highlighting the characters' friendships and bonds. Despite being a Marvel film, it is not too abstract and is focused on teaching children to be good to one another. This is Gunn's last film in the Guardians series and for Marvel, as he moves on to become the co-chairman and CEO of Warner Bros, which sees him as the DCU version of Kevin Feige. Gunn's Guardians franchise has been incredibly popular, and it's clear why DC wanted him on board.
GOTG Vol 3 Plot / Story
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 follows the aftermath of the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The Guardians are left to pick up the pieces after half of the universe's living beings were zapped away by Thanos, only to return five years later.
Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, is emotionally shattered after losing Gamora. The main villain of the story is the High Evolutionary, a mad scientist who wants to create a perfect utopia. The Guardians set off on a heist to save their furry friend, Rocket, and encounter Adam Warlock, a superpowered himbo.
GOTG Vol 3 Acting Review
The acting in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is impressive. Chris Pratt is perfect as Star-Lord, bringing both humor and depth to the role. Zoe Saldaña's Gamora gets more screen time and a well-developed character arc. Dave Bautista's performance as Drax is emotionally impactful, showcasing his range as an actor. Vin Diesel's voice work as Groot is redeeming, and Bradley Cooper's Rocket gets plenty of time despite being mostly out of commission. Other supporting cast members, including Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff, also get their moments to shine. However, Chukwudi Iwuji's villain falls short in comparison to past Marvel villains. Overall, the acting is a highlight of the film.

Music plays a vital role in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, featuring hit songs like "Creep," "Come and Get Your Love," and classics from Beastie Boys and Earth Wind & Fire.
