Continuing their 91-year-long mission to empower young females, the Guam Girl Scouts opened-up their Tamuning clubhouse, exhibiting the various activities they’ve supported on island for nearly a century. The showcase was not only for prospective scouts, but also for adults who’d like to make invaluable contributions to the fun, citizenship and service as mentors.
The diversity of the females that want to be Girl Scouts is one of its strongest aspects. Youngsters from all walks of life, all background and all villages are showing interest, with the virtues and rewards being universal.
