Nearly nine years and five generations apart, the GTX 1060 and RTX 5060 don't share anything in common apart from the numbers at the end of their name.
In today's one, I wanted to see how these two compare in a handful of games, when Ray Tracing, DLSS and Frame Gen is off the table. The winner is probably obvious, but let's see what performance differences you can expect. We'll also be looking at how PCIe scaling effects the 8-lane 5060.
0:00 Intro, Specs and Test Methodology
1:59 Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
3:03 Counter-Strike 2
3:29 Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced
4:21 Black Myth: Wukong
4:56 Helldivers 2
5:27 Cyberpunk 2077
6:01 Oblivion Remastered
6:36 What about PCIe 3.0? (RTX 5060)
9:59 Final Thoughts
Tanks for watching :)
