The Intel Core i7 4790K was the best CPU available back in 2014 and it had excellent overclocking potential. With the insane prices of DDR4 and DDR5 RAM, I decided to build a DDR3 based system using this once top tier processor, and I'll be keeping an eye on it's gaming performance over the next year or so.

Here's a taste of what it can do with a handful of my favourite titles.
