A US Army Battalion is giving out 4 days of off time to play GTA 6 once it releases as an incentive for reenlisting
Seriously, committing to re-upping at the 9th Brigade Engineer Battalion in Fort Stewart, Georgia gets you the majority of a work week at home to brute force your way through Vice City - but it’s not a blanket guarantee
The deal ONLY applies to this specific group within the Army, and soldiers will only get the special 4-day pass if they sign a re-enlistment contract between the first of August 2026, and November 14th
The memo detailing the incentive popped up online, and while it’s not technically verified, and COULD be some sort of elaborate hoax - the claim that they’re gunning to boost morale and promote retention makes a lot of sense if you ask me
