It's... the desert. Not much to say, other than hot weather, hot sun, sand... alien stuff... Area 69... and like 2 Half-Life references in it. I mean, Toreno's supposed to be a reference to G-Man, right?

Although the modification is no longer active, you can wait patiently for Rewind. Yes, that mod is still in the works, just that it has a really slow development.
San Andreas: BETA Edition is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with the goal of remaking, restoring, recreating and return most, or if not all cut features in the development of the game. Or, well, at least what is known and/or is possible.
All information comes from several sources, such as BradyGames' Official Strategy Guide Official, a lot of pre-release screenshots and many leftover files in the game's files.
It's recommended to install this mod from GTAForums (or technically GTAGarage in this case), then it's up to you on what you want to add in there.
HOW TO INSTALL:
Get a clean SA install, get the patches that are required for the game to FUNCTION properly, get cleo and most importantly get Modloader. Afterwards, get the BETA mod and drop the "SA BETA" folder in modloader.
