GTA RIVAL TIME FORGOT -The Getaway Game PS2 REVIEW 2021 |

The Getaway Game on PS2 was the ultimate GTA RIVAL. The Getaway ps2 had photo realistic (in our eyes at the time) graphics and the getaway review s were blown away by what they saw. the getaway game graphics aside, the lack of ANY UI and the thrilling moment to moment gameplay made this a treasure.
Sadly, unlike the Grand Theft Auto Series - many Gamers have forgotten or never experienced ps2 the getaway. It was possibly a head of it's time. I would love an official the getaway 2 or the getaway 3 on modern hardware. There still isn't a single game series that even tries to compete with GTA and I feel the Getaway Game with it's very different shooting mechanics and serious tone can offer something the giant can't.
the getaway game retrospective of sorts is me just talking about what I loved about the game and what I felt it did right. Managed to find an original copy of the game and thought why not? Let;s see if it's as good as I remember!! Don't forget to subscribe to Gaming My Whole Life as I cover many retro games.
