Pre-rendered Cutscenes in video games used to be very common. Over the years it's been slowly faded out as graphics improved and to save money (they took a lot of work and time). This was used heavily during the PlayStation (PS1) era. This sort of video would be enjoyed by anyone who searching ps1 games and retro style videos. Also fans of pre rendered backgrounds in games like resident evil or final fantasy.

The year is 2020 and I'd like to make the argument that even with today's fancy graphics, the industry can still benefit from pre-renders and pre-rendering in our video games.
Real time - In-engine is fine but I prefer looking into the future with the old school way. I knew what sort of graphics I could expect with PS2 graphics because of those pre-rendered cut scenes in my games. Also I feel I make a good point towards the end of the video. To help illustrate my point, I've used pictures of Parasite Eve 2, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8 (I think) and Luigi's Mansion 3 on Switch.
