Live from the G-SHOCK Carnaby St Store, in this SESSIONS event we introduced a special double header with a beat deconstruction and live performance from the multi-talented producer and artist AYO BEATZ and an exclusive live performance from Afrobeat’s hottest property right now, PRETTYBOY D-O.
AYO BEATZ
Having worked with the likes of Young M.A, Krept & Konan, Wes Nelson, KSI, Idris Elba, Chip, and Fredo to name a few, acclaimed producer and rapper Ayo Beatz is one of the hardest working talents in the UK black music scene.
For this special edition Session Ayo took the audience behind some of his most successful productions, in a live beat deconstruction, including his UK hit “See No Body” which featured Wes Nelson and Hardy Caprio. Followed by an exclusive performance of his new single.
PRETTYBOY D-O
Having already collaborated with Davido, BurnaBoy and IAMDDB and with support from The Fader, Complex and Notion to name a few, PRETTYBOY D-O is tipped to be Nigeria’s next major export.
However, he is no stranger to the #NeverGiveUp approach, having dropped out of his Pre-Med university course to focus on music. D-O now represents the new generation of Nigerian youth-culture, the outlaw, the rebel with a cause, fighting for a generation of African Youth to feel free to express themselves and tell their own stories.
