This video shows the final harvest from my potato grow box. The goal was to grow lots of potatoes in a small space. Within a 2 foot by 3 foot area, I yielded 8.7 lbs of potatoes. That means 1.45 lbs per square foot of garden space. This is not very impressive as I've seen potato plantings that claim to yield as much a 25 pounds per square foot!

I'm going to try this system next year as well, but I want to make some tweaks. I want to select a single short-season variety that is a high producer. Also, I'll need to pay special attention to my fertilization regimen and to my pH levels.
