Entry for [CSC] Loneliness
Ok so I was going around and I knew I didn't want to do a typical voice over, instrumental and I kinda wanted to use So Cold by Ben cooks or whatever but I also felt it was overused. So I found this lovely piece of satan used in 11x21- Derek's death episode.
I also didn't just use clips of them crying or death, I used cause and effect. Why does Izzie feel alone and like everythings in slow motion? Denny died. why did meredith stop fighting? Who was she fighting for, what was she fighting? I don't have season 11 so I represented Derek and Meredith fighting with other clips. I found there to be a parallel between Denny and Teddy and scott foleys character. OH also I tried to line up the huge meredith part with the part she sang in the musical episode because im a nerd.
to me loneliness happens in a crowded room, the weight of knowing you could prevent how you feel, etc.
