We are celebrating all things shark this half term (25 May to 2 June) and showing some appreciation for their super senses! In this video we can see the aquarists target feeding the Grey reef sharks in Endless Oceans.

First we see the sharks checking out what’s on offer before moving in for a bite. If you look closely you can even see the sharks eyes close! Did you know their eyelids are used for protection when hunting or when encountering other sharks? They don’t close all the way though, as most sharks have a secret third eyelid known as a 'nictitating membrane' which closes internally to fully protect the eye.
