Let us introduce you to our Endangered Madagascan killifish - and spring has certainly sprung for these little fish!
Working alongside ZSL London Zoo we have been able to successfully breed them. The resulting small fry are being cared for behind the scenes, currently measuring between 3mm - 10mm in length.
Although they may look unremarkable, the killifish are incredibly adaptable and able to tolerate a variety of water conditions. These small brown fish are amongst the most important species for monitoring the future of freshwater environments.
