I hope you enjoy this video of the second Greenfield acoustic guitar in my friend Joel's collection. This is a G3 - Michael Greenfield's smaller fingerstyle model and it was an exhilarating experience playing this instrument for the first time.
This guitar is made from Brazilian rosewood and moon harvested alpine spruce. Every description of a smaller body guitar these days seems to be along the lines of "small guitar big voice" to the point where it has become axiomatic.
This makes occasions where you are confronted by an astonishingly vocal instrument that happens to be smaller than others difficult to describe. Probably best if you listen and share your thoughts I guess!
Thank you very much to Joel for allowing me to share his trifecta of Greenfield guitars with you. It was a joy to spend time with these wonderful instruments.
