Obscure bingo strat.
Getting in is tricky but pretty consistent. Laki clip (it's semi-precise), then edge downward until Mario just barely becomes visible past the pillar. Fall off to the right and when you respawn you should be exactly even with the edge of the pillar. You can tell because Mario and the pillar's texture are, like, blended, or something. Anyway, only from this position can you walk the seam. There's a wall in front of you so you have to jump and edge down and then edge up a little bit more than you edged down. Hopefully you will respawn and fall again. Then you can hold right-up-right to get past the final wall thing.
To get out requires that you get the clippy. Once you've got it, the cage basically doesn't think you exist anymore.
BTW if you saw that Ultra Boots Early video I posted for a short while, that doesn't work, at least not in that way, because your boot upgrades break blocks based on your current hammer upgrade, because logic.
