Separated from mainland Australia by the Bass Strait and the ages, half of Tasmania is covered in forest, and a quarter of it is a National Park. The temperate primary forests contain endemic flora and fauna. This prehistoric setting of ferns, animals, and giant trees is truly exceptional.
